Essie's Apothecary is rooted in generations of Southern knowledge, care, and tradition.

Much of what I know fundamentally about caring for ourselves with herbs, food, and the resources around us began with my grandmother. Her knowledge shaped the way I understand wellness; not simply as something we purchase, but as something we practice, share, and pass down.

Essie's Apothecary is named in honor of my grandmother, Essie, one of the women who helped lay that foundation for me. Even our logo pays tribute to her, reimagining Grandma Essie with a little cosmic flair, a nod to her Aquarius spirit. 👽

As a Southern woman, I created this apothecary to carry those lessons forward while continuing to study, learn, and build upon them. Our products bring together traditional herbal practices and thoughtfully selected botanical ingredients, handcrafted in small batches for everyday rituals of care.

Essie's is both an inheritance and an evolution: rooted in what the women before me taught me, shaped by what I've learned along the way, and created with the hope that these goods become part of the ways you care for yourself and the people you love.
